Quotes To Live By from the Fault in Our Stars by John Green

The Fault in our Stars by John Green date of publication was January 10, 2012 the story is narrated by a 16 year old cancer patient named Hazel Grace, who attends a support group (forced to by her parents). There she meets and falls in love with 17 year old Augustus Waters. Quote 1: “That’s the things about pain, it demands to be felt.” -Augustus Waters, page 63 This is my favorite quote in the book, mostly because it’s so true. Quote 4: “Without pain we couldn’t know joy” – Hazel Grace, page 54 This was one of the quotes hanging up in Augustus’ house that Hazel loved. She found it comforting, I feel the way as Hazel, it means that you would need to go though many tragedies and painful times, to really find happiness and joy. And that it will not be easy to find it, you will have to work hard and not give up. Cause theirs always happiness. Quote 5: “I think forever is an incorrect concept,” – Hazel Grace Hazel answered this after Augustus asked her if she believed in an afterlife. I love how Hazel answered...
